Fashion week in New York gave us a great idea of the upcoming trends. Here is a look at some of the most wearable trends of the seasons.

Zippers As Adding Zap!

Yes that’s right; punk rockers are not the only people who can sport zippers on their clothing. Fashion week showed us that zippers can be a stunning asset to any article of clothing. We saw zippers on boots, skirts and even tee shirts!

Relaxed Fit

You can throw your skinny jeans out the window for now. Relaxed pants seem to be the new trend and really who’s complaining? The newest trend in pants allows you some breathing room, because they fit loose on the hips. These relaxed fit pants can be paired with a cute tank top for a casual look or a nice blouse for a night out on the town.

Silky Sensations

Silky, satiny fabrics are making a sensation this season. Dresses, skirts, blouses, and even loose elegant tank tops took center stage in New York at fashion week. In addition to adding texture and style, these fluid fabrics add a touch of elegance to any outfit. Even a pair of jeans is dressy with a silky tank top and simple accessories.

Pink

Pink is back with a vengeance-and in every shade of pink! That’s actually a good thing because almost every hair color and skin tone looks fabulous in one of these gorgeous pink colors, so everyone can embrace their feminine side! Darker hair and complexions look pretty in hot pink or magenta! Pale or light complexions and blonde hair look fabulous in pastel pinks.

Big, Bulky Beads Are Back

Accessorize this season with super large necklaces. These are a great way to dress up a so-so shirt. Invest in some oversized necklaces in a verity of colors this season.

Huge Bags

The bigger the bag, the better. That seems to be the motto for this year! Women everywhere are sporting big beautiful bags that can fit just about everything but the kitchen sink. They’re stylish and very convenient-and they come in a huge variety of colors, patterns, styles, and designs!

Neon Colors

Remember the neon colors from the 1980’s? Florescent orange, hot pink, vibrant lime green, and neon yellow are back-and they are very hot right now. Buy tops in these hot neon colors and throw them on with casual comfy jeans and you’re ready to head out for the day and turn heads, too.

Spring Suits

Black is an excellent choice for pant suites; however this season pastel suites are all the rage! Fill your work wardrobe with pastel colored pantsuits for spring. You’ll look and feel great. You may also turn a few heads!

Bold Solids and Patterns

Like many of the clothing and accessories seen at fashion week, bold colors are currently very much in vogue. Tiny delicate prints are a little pass for this year but have been replaced with bold solids or bright chunky patterns in bold hues. You can also layer different pieces in bright colors to create a funky fashionable look that is fabulous with jeans or loose casual pants.
